As a warehouse associate, you’ll be responsible for carrying out the logistics of picking, packing and scanning orders, as well as receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label and ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label and store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a warehouse worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Ability to learn quickly – teachable
- Ability to work with others
- Ability to work independently
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Current forklift license
- High school degree or equivalent
- Hard worker
- Positive attitude
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when necessary
