Customer Service Representative

Candidates also must be able to handle multiple customer accounts, provide excellent customer service and stay in constant contact with customers, all while continuing to grow the business.

As a customer service representative, it's your job to focus on providing the correct resolutions for both customers and the business. You will manage customer relationships and assist with their individual service needs while delivering best-in-class customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, print orders and labels, prepare special handling (VAS) requests and work with the warehouse to follow instructions
  • Communicate closely with the customer for specific requirements
  • Confirm orders/scan bills of lading (BOLs) to customers daily
  • Maintain files
  • Route orders and follow customer routing guides
  • Run reports for open orders, shipped orders and tracking
  • Create BOLs and packing lists

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service
  • Good/excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word,
  • Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective time management and self-accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • 1 year of customer service-related experience
  • High-energy and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma/GED
